We stayed for 5 nights while surfing with Baleal Surf School. The location was amazing - beautiful views from the terrace facing the sunrise whilst watching the surfers. An easy walk across the beach to surf school. Fantastic Taberna do Ganhao very close by. We stayed in late October and the island was pleasantly peaceful. Fernando and Luciana were super helpful hosts. The kitchen is well equipped including some helpful condiments in the cupboard. The master bedroom is lovely (bed a little firm after a full days surfing!) and our two teenage children managed fine in the bunk room. We would definitely book again if we return to the area.

Incredible place, exactly what I had hoped for and it delivered. Everything was clean, the kitchen had basic amenities stocked, the dishes spotless, and there were even beach toys and umbrellas for use. We went with two small kids, so having a room just for them was great and they loved the beach toys (which we didn't have to buy or bring along). We stayed for 3 days/4 nights and it was the highlight of our vacation, definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

This house is everything that you can expect from holiday home. The view from rooftop is amazing, kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need, beds are comfortable and its clean. If you surf there is plenty of space to comfortably wash and dry your wetsuit, if you just want to go to the beach there are umbrellas, wind screen and even toys for kids. We stayed in Laura House for 5 nights. The house has an upstairs terrace with amazing views over the waves. Kitchen is very well equiped and the whole place is nicely decorated and clean. Communication with the hosts is very good and they are very helpful (especially with the continuously changing guidelines for COVID). Baleal is a great place to stay: nearby are plenty of restaurants, it is very close to the beach and surfing and the island has a real nice vibe.

This place is a gem! Its super clean, communication and check in were super easy and you have everything you need to spend a great vacay on the beautiful peninsula of Baleal. From the huge roof terrace you have direct sight on one of the two surf spots directly in front of your door. Great sunrise and awesome light when the sun sets again. Missing already the end of the day on the top floor balcony. We were fortunate enough to come in the off season and stay on Baleal Island in the Laura House. The location is amazing, plenty of restaurants (even though it was super easy to cook in), lots of surf rentals and the beach was beautiful. We had sunny days and stormy days and all were enjoyable. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for a response when we had a question and would love to come back. I highly recommend a stay here when near Peniche!

There can be no better location for wave enthusiasts. All night you can hear the sea, in the morning you check the surf from the window in the living room or while having your breakfast on the roof terrace. The house itself is very well equipped. The contact with Luciana and Fernando was perfect. Hopefully we will come back soon.

We wish we would have been able to stay forever! The apartment is comfortable, very quiet and has a roof deck to die for. The location is perfect, just steps to the beach and to Taberna do Ganhao, where we had without question the best meal of our whole trip. The tuna steak was the best we've ever had. The beach is gorgeous, not too busy and easy to access. Not sure how different it would be during peak season, but it was exactly what we were looking for. The self check in process was easy and appreciated as we were traveling from Porto and weren't sure of our exact arrival time.

The upstairs patio had nice table for six to eat at and lounge chairs to relax and take in the spectacular views of the beach and ocean. Parking was convenient on the street in front of unit. We stayed in Laura House Baleal with our 4 kids for 3 weeks in July/August 2019 and had perfect surfing holidays. It's a great place as Baleal Island is surrounded by beautiful beaches offering a wide range of opportunities for all surfing levels. From the roof terrace of the house you have also great views on the ocean. The house is well equipped and its patio is a great place to leave your surfing stuff.

Besides we really enjoyed the weekly cleaning done by Baleal Rentals.

Fernando and Luciana from Baleal Rentals offered an outstanding and very individual service and supported us 24/7 especially when I had a health issue and needed to go to hospital. We are already planning our next holidays in Baleal. Perhaps earlier in the summer as August is quite busy.

If you stay there, really get up early and enjoy the sunrise on the terrace with beach view! It is worth it!! The surfing beaches are just a few steps from the door, also there are good places to eat in walking distance (in direction to Ferrel). The appartment was very clean, very well equipped. There are good restaurants in walking distance, two beaches around the corner, it is very quiet at night and the support from Luciana is awesome! The appartement has a perfect view over Lagide Beach from the terrace. Wonderful up there for your meals. You can check the waves without even leaving the house. The kitchen has everything you might need. If there´s anything you might want to know, you need or need assistance with, Luciana and Fernando were always there for us. You will even find a windshelter and umbrellas for the beach. Wetsuits and wet clothes can comfortably be hanged outside, where no one else can pick them. That´s also the best place to leave your boards. Thank you very much Luciana&Fernando, we will be back

We love this House on the Baleal island! Perfect location with beach and spot in front of the door. Even July it’s peace at night and no problem to get a parking place in front of or straight behind the house. A cool roofgarden with a great Ocean view ! It’s clean, the kitchen is well-equipped and to be well provided with perfect hosts is naturally!

Being hosted as such a beautiful place as Baleal is, there's nothing much to be said. First night there we realized that the internet router wasn't working, we called Fernando and in less than half an hour Fernando tackled down the situation. The house as everything you need to accomodate a small family, it even has toys for the kids as a nice DVD collection of kids titles. We took 2 big boards of SUP and being able to get out and in the house dressing a wetsuit and storing them in the backyard was what made me choose the house, I would totally recommend the house and I would re-book it as soon as possible.
